People Trippin is a creative project that was born at the Selby Library in Sarasota, Florida, U.S.A. when musician Tihda Vongkoth and Spoken Word poet Melanie Lavender decided to team up. What started as a spark of collaboration quickly grew into an evolving journey—an exploration of sound, story, and shared experience. Blending music, poetry, theatre, and education, People Trippin creates interdisciplinary works that challenge boundaries, uplift voices, and invite audiences to experience art as a living, breathing conversation.
